The Memorial will be constructed in several phases.  Thus far, 6 phases are anticipated.  Of course, the ideal construction time will be less then anticipated.  With an increase in monetary and material/labor donations, we could make it a reality sooner. 

Below is a breakdown of the current, tentaive schedule.

Thus far we have funds, free material and help for 3900 Pottstown area WWII Veterans via:

Universal Concrete Products Corp. furnished materials, & sub-contractors to deliver & erect main structure. 

John O'Boyle Construction-Contractor for complete job, including 840 sf. pavers donated by Rinox, Paul Buckwalter Excavater, thanks to Dwight Buckwalter, & donation of 4 benches thanks to BIE & John O'Boyle.

Phase 1 - Completed - August 16, 2008. Construction of main structure 21' x 7' and two piers, 2' 4" square x 8',

Dedication September 7, 2008, band & fun for all.

Phase 2-Soon 4 plaques w. 2000 names will be installed.

Needed $20,000 for the remainder of 1900 names.

Phase 3 - Summer 2008 - Plant 8 evergreens Cost - $500

Phase 4 - Spring 2009 - Install History of War, Home-front, Gold Star Mothers free help & materials, Founders name, committee and others on plaque Cost - $30,000

Phase 5 - Bronze Statue, Bust-Gen. Eisenhower & Gen. McCarthur  Cost-$30,000. 

 Other costs  $47,500
