The 3,900 names obtained by the committee were done so through the Pottstown Historical Society. 
It should be noted that it was not compiled by any person on the Memorial Committee,
nor volunteers or consultants mentioned on this web site. 

The list of the names can be seen at several different locations in the Pottstown area including: 

McKinney's Library in Borough Hall ,
Wal-Mart,
The Coventry Mall,
The Senior Citizens' Center,
Harleysville Bank (North End Branch), 
National Penn Bank (East End Branch).  

Will you or a veteran you know be on the Memorial?

    First and foremost, the memorial will include names of Veterans of WWII who resided in

 
Pottstown,
Lower Pottsgrove,
West Pottsgrove, and
Upper Pottsgrove, 
 

in Montgomery County, from 1941 to 1946.  
If you have viewed the list and believe a name should be included
on it please submit them using the following criteria:

    That the individual(s) enlisted or were inducted while a resident of the Pottstown area
as defined above for service in World War II. 
Also please provide a current address if veteran is living.
